- Yang Yoga is usually described as a more traditional practice (Ashtanga, Hatha or Vinyasa Flow) that focuses on strength, stability and stamina through active poses and flow sequences.
- Yin Yoga is a slower, internal and reflective practice where poses are held passively for longer to promote repair and flexibility within deep connective tissues and joints.
Combined together, this class aims to bring balance to your mind, body, spirit and life!
This is a great class for any level student as the instructor is passionate in adapting poses to fit your needs. We firmly believe that yoga is meant for every body.
The first half of the class will move through Yang flow sequences that are created specifically for that week’s theme or goal. The second half of the class will focus on the deep, meditative stretches of Yin yoga. Our hope is that this combination of styles will leave you with a feeling of calm and focus while refreshing and mobilising your body.
